Well done to our rowers at the
Caley Cruisers Fours And Small Boats Head

Strathclyde Park Rowing Club - Adult Beginners Rowstart

These sessions are designed to provide a supportive environment to take you from complete beginner out onto the water with confidence. You will be in a small group, beginning on rowing machines in the gym and, when ready, out into training boats on the water. The pace of the course is very much tailored to your personal ability and learning needs but is dependent on factors beyond our control, like the weather.

Sessions are held when sufficient aspiring rowers have applied and a coach is available. There might therefore be a delay between the time you make your application and the start of your first session. In the winter, when rowing opportunities are less frequent the delay involved could be several months.

The cost of the course will depend on the number of sessions it involves and the amount of time that will be spent on the water. You will be advised of the cost, which will be between £35 and £50, when the first session date and time is confirmed.

After completion you will be able to join the club as a full member, and you will have support in developing your skills further.
