Adult Beginners Rowstart
If you are aged 18 and over, please contact secretary@strathclydeparkrc.co.uk for details of our Rowstart programme. These sessions are designed to provide a supportive environment to take you from complete beginner out onto the water with confidence. You will be in a small group, beginning on the rowing machines, progressing onto the indoor tank, and then out into training boats on the water. The pace of the course is very much tailored to your personal ability and learning needs and will consist of three, two hour teaching blocks. The course costs £50 and after completion you will be able to join the club as a full member, when you will have the support in developing your skills further.
Juniors
If you are aged over 12 and under 18, please contact jcoach.sprc@gmail.com who will let you know the best time to come down to meet the coaching team and the other junior club members.
For All Ages
We ask that you can swim 50m in light clothing and to help with this we organise a few indoor capsize drills, with an actual boat and 50m swim tests at a local swimming pool.
