Welcome to Strathclyde Park Rowing Club

We are the club for you, whether you are a complete beginner to rowing or an aspiring champion.

We have around fifty members of all ages and abilities and we have access to the best facilities in Scotland. These include eight 2km racing lanes on the purpose built course, the only indoor rowing tank in Scotland and a fleet of over 25 boats from training singles to international standard racing sculls.

We train on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10.30am until 12.00 noon all year round with more experienced club members getting on the water from 8.30am. We also train midweek on a Tuesday and Thursday from 6.00pm until 8.00pm, on the loch in the summer and in the gym in the winter.

We have a team of coaches for all levels of expertise and and support from experienced and successful members to get the best out of our training.

SPRC takes pride in accommodating and supporting members across all of its squads, from our complete beginners throughout the Junior & Senior sections of the club, the recreational groups, all the way through to members of Scottish Rowing's Performance Development Academy who are hoping to one day compete at the Olympic Games!

From time to time we organise courses for both juniors and seniors where newcomers can learn to row. These are organised in small groups, led by a fully qualified coach. Click here to find out more about these.

As well as training, we are a social club and organise a number of events throughout the year including post event dinners, scratch regattas at Christmas and Easter and our legendary annual awards ceremony dinner (and dance!).

If you want to find out more about our club, the facilities or how to get involved, please explore our website or contact us here.

We look forward to seeing you at the Park!
