Adult Beginners Rowstart
Juniors
Membership Applications
If you are aged 18 and over, please contact   Secretary@StrathclydeparkRC.co.uk   for details of our Rowstart programme. These sessions are designed to provide a supportive environment to take you from complete beginner out onto the water with confidence. You will be in a small group, beginning on the rowing machines, progressing onto the indoor tank, and then out into training boats on the water. The pace of the course is very much tailored to your personal ability and learning needs and will consist of three, two hour teaching blocks. The course costs £50 and after completion you will be able to join the club as a full member, when you will have the support in developing your skills further.
If you are aged over 12 and under 18, please contact Ailie Ord - 01698 459 018 who will let you know the best time to come down to meet the coaching team and the other junior club members.
The membership rates for 2015-2016  are as follows:
Ordinary: over 18s - £356
Student: over 18s in full-time education - £263
Coach / Cox: appropriate licence fee only
Junior: under 18s - £248
Associate: anyone with a non-rowing, friendly interest in the club - £25

Please note these subscriptions are from September to August as agreed at our annual AGM.
New members joining part way through the year may qualify for a reduced subscription.

Licences should be applied for and paid directly to Scottish Rowing:

Senior - £41.00
Junior - £23.00

For all ages we ask that you can swim 100m in light clothing and to help with this we organise a few indoor capsize drills, with an actual boat and 100m swim tests at a local swimming pool.
